Mary Dean's CE Primary School was last inspected in October 2022 where it maintained its GOOD judgement overall.
The process was extremely positive and the inspector talked very positively about the ethos of the school, describing it as ‘a happy, friendly and caring school which pupils enjoy attending’. It was recognised that ‘leaders prioritise reading from the start’ and ‘set high expectations for behaviour’. The pupils were described as ‘polite and courteous and respectful of each other’s points of view’.
The inspector noted that ‘pupils have a variety of opportunities to represent the school, such as the school choir’ and how ‘pupils are proud of their successes in sporting competitions’.
We are fortunate to have hard-working, talented staff at Mary Dean’s, who provide children with a good education alongside extra-curricular opportunities for children to develop and flourish.
