Welcome

Welcome to our friendly and inviting nursery which is open to children from three years old. 

Situated in the village of Tamerton Foliot, overlooking countryside and the Tamar estuary, as well as being close to the city of Plymouth, the nursery is an integral part of Mary Dean's CE Primary School, offering children an excellent foundation to their primary school education in a safe and nurturing environment. 

With a safe, contained outdoor space, a quiet nook for reading and a bright and colourful main room, children feel both calm and protected but also inspired and creative here at Mary Dean's Nursery, being able to make the most of the variety of activities on offer.   

Across the school, our children are kind and polite, enthusiastic and motivated to achieve their very best. We all work together to ensure that our children are happy and confident and proud to be learners. Our nursery children access the hall for lunch and PE lessons, but they are given the space and time to feel happy and confident in their surroundings.
