Welcome to the second part of the spring term. We are enjoying the better weather and longer days! Hopefully, we will be able to enjoy some more outside learning.

In English, we are using our history knowledge of Hillside (the first Mary Dean's school-ask your child about this, they have some great facts!) to write a class report. The children will then write their own non-chronological report about the current Mary Dean's school.

We will be learning about keeping healthy in PSHE. The children are already making healthier snack choices and are encouraging each other to be more active at playtimes. They will be designing, making and tasting healthy snacks later in the term.

Our RE learning will be about the Easter story and its importance to Christians. We will then show what we have learnt in our Easter performance at the end of the term. We look forward to seeing you all there!
