Welcome

A very warm welcome to Mary Dean’s C of E Primary School and Nursery. 

Mary Dean’s is a Church of England Primary School with its own Nursery, educating children between the ages of three and 11 years old. Situated in the village of Tamerton Foliot, we are fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Tamar estuary, as well as being close to the city of Plymouth. 

We are very lucky to have some wonderful outdoor areas for the children to use, with a spiritual garden for quiet reflection, a self-contained space for our nursery, an undercover area for our reception children, two playgrounds with a climbing wall, basketball nets, climbing equipment and more, and an adjacent field which has our very own bike track. 

We have a nurturing, vibrant school with high aspirations for every child. Our children are kind and polite, enthusiastic and motivated to achieve their very best. We all work together to ensure our children are happy and confident and proud to be learners at Mary Dean’s.
